The ISO/SAE 21434 Road Vehicles – Cybersecurity Engineering standard is a global standard developed by the ISO and is one of the most important international standards in the field of automotive information security. It offers a stringent framework for the ability to resist various cyber security threats in automotive design. Like the ISO 26262 Functional Safety standard, the ISO/SAE 21434 Cybersecurity Engineering standard has a significant impact on the entire lifecycle of automotive electronics.

With the continuous improvement of intelligent connected vehicles and automated driving technologies, the rapid development of software-defined vehicles (SDV), and the increasing risk of cyber attacks and resulting damage, cybersecurity has become one of the core requirements for future vehicles and their components. Many countries are accelerating the formulation and improvement of vehicle cybersecurity-related regulations and standards to address relevant challenges in the automotive industry. Among the many cybersecurity-related standards, ISO/SAE 21434 is the one that has drawn most attention from industry experts.

So far, Intron Technology and G-Pulse have obtained ISO 26262 ASIL C Functional Safety certification, ASPICE CL3 Software Process Improvement and Capability certification, IATF 16949 Quality Management System standard and ISO/SAE 21434 Cybersecurity certification, and other mainstream certifications and standards for the automotive industry, all of which cover electrification, intelligent vehicles, software solutions and overall R&D system. This proves that Intron Technology has market-leading and mature automotive electronic service capabilities, and is able to ensure its design platform and commercialization platform comply with international standards, given its high threshold and requirements.

Mr. Sam Qin, Deputy General Manager of G-Pulse, said, "G-Pulse is one of the first automotive electronic service providers in China to be awarded the ISO/SAE 21434 Automotive Cybersecurity Management System certification. In the future, we will strive to implement international high-standard systems in information security and functional safety, which are closely related to intelligent networking. We will also strictly implement information security control measures in the development of product lifecycles of intelligent driving, cockpit and networking, as well as jointly safeguard the core values of our customers and facilitate the safe development of the automotive industry."
