Intron Technology, Infineon, Vector and TASKING Jointly Launch DRIVECORE™ TC4 IT2
Accelerate R&D and Mass Production of AD, ADAS and Robotics Applications

2026.06.17

(Hong Kong, June 17, 2026) Intron Technology Holdings Limited ("Intron Technology" or the "Group", stock code: 1760.HK), a leading Chinese provider of automotive electronics solutions, jointly launched the revolutionary DRIVECORE™ TC4 IT2 development platform together with global automotive semiconductor solutions leader Infineon Technologies, world-renowned software platform expert Vector, and embedded software tools leader TASKING. Built around Infineon's AURIX™ TC4D9 series of high-performance microcontrollers (MCUs), the platform deeply integrates hardware, basic software, development tools, and the functional safety ecosystem. As a highly integrated, convenient and efficient ecosystem platform, it is dedicated in providing a "software-hardware synergistic, safe, and efficient" development foundation for Automated Driving (AD), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and robotics applications.

Software-Hardware Synergy: Reconstructing the Integrated Development Paradigm

-  Software Engine: DRIVECORE™ TC4 IT2 Software Suite
To maximize development efficiency, the platform delivers a software suite that integrates the core technological strengths of all partners, including Infineon’s MCAL drivers, Vector’s MICROSAR Classic (AUTOSAR) basic software, and the functional safety-certified TASKING SmartCode Compiler (including winIDEA). Critically, the suite embeds a PPU (Parallel Processing Unit) runtime environment library specifically optimized for the AURIX™ TC4D9 architecture, enabling efficient inter-processor communication and providing ready-to-use scheduling and data exchange mechanisms for complex heterogeneous workloads such as radar, vision perception, and AI inference.

The entire software stack has undergone system-level validation and performance optimization. Developers no longer need to spend time resolving the intricate integration challenges among chip drivers, AUTOSAR software stacks, and compiler toolchains—saving an estimated 3–6 months of low-level integration effort and allowing teams to focus directly on algorithm and application-layer development.

In addition, the suite features a unified licensing and management framework, eliminating the need for customers to engage separately with multiple vendors for tool procurement and license maintenance. This significantly reduces procurement overhead, administrative complexity, and compliance costs, delivering a truly out-of-the-box, seamless, and production-ready development experience.

-  Hardware Support: Intron OPEN-ECU™ Platform GDCU4xx Series Controllers
G-Pulse, a product solution company under Intron Technology Group, is responsible for providing ODM development and technical support for the GDCU4xx series controllers. Leveraging nearly two decades of automotive electronics engineering experience and large-scale manufacturing capabilities, G-Pulse ensures the high reliability and rapid engineering iteration of the hardware platform.

This series of controllers innovatively integrates Infineon's AURIX™ TC4D9 as a safety microcontroller (MCU) and pairs it with mainstream high-performance System-on-Chips (SoCs) currently available on the market. This creates a powerful heterogeneous computing platform tailored specifically for automated driving workloads. The controllers support a complete ADAS/AD sensor ecosystem, covering LiDAR, mmWave Radar, ultrasonic radar, and cameras. With a rich set of built-in communication and video interfaces, as well as integrated multi-band high-precision GNSS and Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), the platform enables complete sensor fusion and perception algorithm development on a single platform, providing comprehensive hardware support for complex automated driving scenarios.

Addressing Pain Points: Delivering an Efficient, Reliable, and Secure Development Experience

DRIVECORE™ TC4 IT2 effectively tackles key pain points in current AD, ADAS and robotics applications development, such as high integration complexity, long development cycles, and difficulties in obtaining functional safety certification. Developers no longer need to spend months on the tedious integration and adaptation of low-level chip drivers, AUTOSAR software stacks, and toolchains. Instead, they can focus directly on innovating core algorithms and differentiated features related to perception, decision-making, and control.

From hardware design to software configuration, the development platform is designed in accordance with the ASIL D functional safety standard, establishing a solid foundation for ultimate system reliability. By eliminating low-level integration barriers, project launch efficiency has been significantly improved. Developers can quickly complete proof of concept (PoC) testing, system evaluation, and prototype demonstrations, thereby significantly enhancing development productivity, accelerating product iteration, and seizing first-mover advantages. According to industry research, as regulations for L3 automated driving are implemented in major global markets, the commercialization of automated driving technology will accelerate. Correspondingly, the global market for AD and ADAS is expected to exceed US$200 billion by 2030.

Uniting for Innovation: Fostering a Prosperous and Efficient Development Ecosystem

DRIVECORE™ TC4 IT2 is not only a milestone in the global strategic partnership and technological synergy between Intron Technology, Infineon, Vector and TASKING, but also marks a paradigm shift in the development model for intelligent driving systems. By deeply integrating world-leading chip technologies and software toolchains with localized hardware engineering capabilities, it offers a standardized, modular and comprehensive solution that effectively addresses the challenges of fragmentation and high coupling currently facing intelligent driving system development.

This development platform allows developers to avoid getting bogged down in low-level adaptation and details, enabling them to focus core resources on upper-level application innovation and product differentiation. It accelerates the transition of technology from development prototypes to mass production, driving a shift in the development model from "component assembly" to "platform-driven" and laying a solid foundation for building an efficient, secure, and scalable AD, ADAS and robotics applications development ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Intron Technology, Infineon, Vector and TASKING, will continue to deepen their technological synergy to enrich the toolchain, optimize the software stack, and expand application scenarios for the AURIX™ TC4x series of microcontrollers, thereby providing a safer, more efficient, and more reliable development foundation. Together, they will drive the deep integration of functional safety and high-performance computing in AD, ADAS and robotics applications, enabling customers worldwide to overcome mass-production bottlenecks and jointly create a worry-free, efficient and convenient intelligent experience defined by ultimate efficiency, safety and reliability.
